PROJECT MANAGER

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Job

1. Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and within the budget
3. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and security robustness
4. Ensure resource availability and allocation
5. Develop a detailed project plan and monitor, manage progress
6. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
7. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
8. Report and escalate to management as needed
9. Maintain a healthy business rapport with clients and all stakeholders
10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks
11. Establish and maintain healthy business rapport with third parties/vendors
12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
13. Provide direction to the project team including Testers / Vendors / Implementers and Business Users

The Person

1. BSc IT or similar degree/ professional qualification
2. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
3. At least 5 years of Executive experience of which 3 years of Project Coordination & Management experience preferably in Information Technology
4. Solid technical background, with an understanding of software development and web technologies
5. Should possess a background in vendor management, budgeting and analysis
6. Should be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
