IT Hardware Technician job from GAMES STREET (PVT) LTD in Colombo 04, Sri Lanka

Strong hands-on experience with desktop computers and laptops, including hardware installation, upgrades, and system configuration. Proficiency in technical support and troubleshooting, including diagnosing hardware, software, and basic network-related issues. Practical skills in computer repair, including component-level replacement, OS installation, and performance optimization. Experience providing printer support, including installation, driver configuration, and resolving common print issues. Familiarity with Windows operating systems (and ideally basic Linux/macOS exposure) and common productivity and gaming software. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail/service environment, and work both independently and in a team. Relevant technical certification or diploma in IT, Computer Hardware, or a related field is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience is also valued. Interest in gaming hardware and current PC component trends is a strong advantage.
