Job Profile Description:
  • Resolving critical issues with proper analysis and share the Root cause analysis with a permanent fix
  • Managing SQL Server in (Development, testing, and production) environments
  • DB background includes database configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and managing day to day operation activities
  • Provide assistance to the application team in identifying database problems
  • Exposure in Database up-gradation and Migration
  • Worked and managed clouds based databased infrastructure
  • Installed and configured MSSQL 2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014,2016,2017
  • Applied Database patches and cumulative Hotfixes
  • Understanding of Windows administration to manage the database independently
  • Extensive work on High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solutions includes (AlwaysOn, Clustering, Mirroring, Log Shipping, and Replication)
  • Security Management (Logins, Users, Database/Server Roles, and Granting/revoking permissions)
  • Have Implemented AlwaysOn Availability Groups in SQL Server 2012, 2016 and 2017 (In Cloud (AWS or Azure) and On-Prim Environment)
  • Expert in Performance Tuning by analyzing blocking, index fragmentation, execution plans, DMVs, native tools SQL Server Profiler, Query Plan, Database Tuning Advisor and Event Viewer
  • Experience troubleshooting SQL Server jobs, Backup compression, Support for large and Complex Databases
  • Expert in VM ware and Cloud DB infra deployment
  • Database Consolidation and Solution Design for SQL Server Database technology
  • Exposure in CDC  and Database Audit
  • Assessing and auditing existing Projects for value-add and SIP to the client in terms of optimize operational and technical streams
  • Automate the daily task using Powershell
  • Sound knowledge (Access Control, Incident Management, Capacity Management, Problem Management, Release Management, Change Management, Service Management
  • Support Database on AWS, Azure or Goole Cloud
  • Worked on Database migration from On-prime to cloud
  • Expertise in Database cluster deployment and Management


Formal Experience: 2 - 5 years

 

Physical/mental demands and working conditions

  • Expected to work a full day (preferably 11:30 to 21:00 hours)
  • Use of a PC/ shared computer
