Overall responsibility for the service & operational deliverables of a Distribution Center with FMCG items and managing transport fleet operation of the company effectively and efficiently with increased productivity. The selected candidate will be responsible for, • Receiving, picking, inventory and dispatch operations, compliance to HSE standards and operational SOP's • Engaging with contracted transport service suppliers to ensure expected service levels are met • Manage all engagement functions of clients served by transport vertical • Monitoring market rates and negotiating new prices with transporters and regular updating of databases • Monitoring the maintenance of the fleet of vehicles in good working order Person Specifications • 2 years' experience in a similar capacity • Exposure to SAP or any other recognized Warehouse Management Systems • Multi Industry exposure would be an added advantage • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to learn on the job and deliver under pressure Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
