Job Profile
- Monitor all network operations to ensure smooth running/availability and analyse/isolate any existing or potential issues
- Ensure timely deployment of security updates and patches where required or recommended by Information Security 7 external parties
- Contribute to the designing and implementing of new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of the current network
- Recommend modifications including upgrades, additions or deletions to moderately complex or complex systems /services
- Provide analysis and justification for the recommendation which may include capacity upgrades, feasibility, technological upgrades, end-user customer demand or need
- Update existing policies and introduce new policies and document all processes relating to network infrastructure implementations
- Ongoing research into new trends, direction and recommend Network Communication-related hardware and software including developing business cases for network infrastructure investments

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years experience with 2 years in the field of Networking - LAN/WAN / Voice with good hands-on ability
- Minimum 2 years at Deputy/Manager grade
- An IT-related Degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution
- Possessing a CCNA / CCNP network related certification would be desired
