Responsible to use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts while collaborating with other teams and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.

The Job

  • Managing operational report requests via Tableau / Safe Harbor
  • Attend for development of Analytics at the EDGE project
  • Work with business/support units to identify opportunities for leveraging the organization’s data to drive business
  • Collect and clean data from internal and external sources as suitable for analytical tasks
  • Carry out exploratory data analysis, visualization, hypothesis testing and present findings and actionable intelligence to stakeholders and senior management through data visualization tools
  • Define activities, strategic direction, scope, and timelines on data science projects
  • Development of dashboard to cater to divisional business requirements
  • Working in cross-functional teams (internal & external) to develop and trial use cases
  • Maintain documentation of methodology, source codes, version control and other best practices in development operations
  • Adhere to agile development practices
  • Write reports and delivers presentations to all levels of colleagues and peer groups in ways that support the business
  • Provide guidance to achieve consistent commercial growth and execution excellence in the division/BU
  • Execute campaigns with functional units and measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Apply simple problem-solving methodologies to diagnose and solve operational and interpersonal problems
  • Implements enhancements and fixes to systems as needed
  • Provides ongoing tracking and monitoring of the performance of decision systems and statistical models
  • Lead initiatives for continual improvements
  • Define performance tracking metrics including (not limited to) incremental take-up, revenue etc.
  • Research on industry best practices and work with internal/external parties on R&D tasks
  • Prepare roadmaps, investment papers and research on emerging technologies
  • Communicates and works with business subject matter experts for continuous improvement of methodologies
  • Carry out trials, adaptations of methodologies
  • Ensure Predictive models are live and is automated within the key business processes

The Person

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on industry experience in an analytics role
  • B.Sc degree related to Analytics from a recognized university or institute
  • Passionate about creating value through scientific methods and data analysis
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and openness to feedback from design, strategy and other disciplines
