As we are expanding our operation locally and regionally, we are looking for a Procurement Executive who will be supporting us on improvising our competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Responsible on identifying new sources of supply by understanding the geological variations.

·   Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.

·   Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the purchase.

·   Responsible on maintain the proper stock turnover ratio.

·   Responsible on the daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.

·   Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.

·   Monitoring the import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.

·   Coordinate and expediting import process with local and overseas partners.

Key Qualification:

·   Bachelor degree or advance diploma in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent Qualification from a recognized university/institutes are preferred.

·   Minimum two years’ experience as a Procurement Executive.

·   Sound knowledge in Customs, other authority regulations and banking procedures for imports & clearance.

·   Strong Communication (English & Sinhala), Negotiation and Analytic skills.

·   Working knowledge in MS Office applications and other procurement related software.
