Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Provide shipment updates and tracking information.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and transport providers.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents and customer records.
- Follow up on bookings, customs clearance, and cargo delivery.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the operations team with daily logistics activities.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an advantage).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
