SYNERGEN Health is searching for an experienced IT Manager who can maintain and expand our computer networks. The IT Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning and leading computer-related activities in our organization. The IT Manager will also help to determine the IT needs of the organization and will be responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements, managing of the IT staff and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies that could help the company to succeed.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve the IT infrastructure and data security
Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
Conducting regular audits on IT infrastructure
Maintain ISO 27001 and 9001 standards and lead the IT team in internal and external ISO
Oversee the documentation in IT infrastructure and making sure it's up to date all relevant information
Monitoring the IT helpdesk and ensure the team meets the set SLA
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Providing direction for IT team members and guide them on career progression
Be the go-to person for IT team members whenever they need expert advice on technical matters
Ability to work in US work hours.
Education and Professional Work Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in leading a medium size IT team
Minimum of associate level certification in AWS
IT/Computer Science/Networking related degree from a recognized University
Hands on experience in Windows and Linux server environments
Hands on experience in managing office 365 and cloud infrastructures (AWS)
Hands on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining secure network infrastructure and maintaining industry's leading firewall systems and switches
Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Good to have
Knowledge in ITIL best practices
Experience in implementing ISO 27001 standards
Experience working with foreign clients
Experience in using security scanning tools (Ex: Nessus, OWASP)
Professional certificate in security testing
Master's degree in IT/Computer Science/Networking
Skills required
